Better weather

The gorgeous weekend led into a mostly gorgeous week. There was a bit of grey at the beginning of it, but things have cleared up wonderfully.

A brief talk with my boss on Monday did not exactly make me feel any better about my position at work, but it did galvanise my resolve to look for other things. A lot of my friends have been very supportive in this respect, and I want to thank those of you that have helped. You're all way cool and stuff.

I finished off the week watching an utterly depressing and unbearingly long movie at the Princess, "Dogville". There were some interesting choices about how the film was produced and shot, but in the end the hand-cam-style camera work and abrupt cuts just made me nauseous, and the content of the film just made me want to go home and go to sleep.

Today is another beautiful day. And the week is looking like it will follow suit, save for a brief interruption by rain or a short storm tomorrow. Perfect timing. I think it's rained at least briefly for every ride in the past three years I've done it; this year should be no different. If you want to donate, it's not too late!
