So now that I've lived in my new place for about half a year, I was sort of hoping that I'd have my act together enough that I could have a few guests over. A dinner or a house-warming or something.
The first step, being of course that I'd get my act together. At this point, my place is pretty much the same as it's been for the last five or six months. I have things unpacked, but not really put away. I have a desk that's made of a sheet of plywood across the comic storage boxes. And I have no dining room table.
It hasn't really seemed like a priority. Mostly because I haven't been inviting people over for dinner, save for perhaps people that I don't feel embarrassed about them seeing all my clutter. Other than that, I've pretty much been going out.
So I'm just not properly motivated, mostly. I should make some attempt to do something about that. Watch this space. But don't hold your breath.
